My name is Cydia Lee. I am not really into technology but I do really enjoying using them. Today I am going to share a little bit about this wonderful thing call Cydia (Yes, the app has the same name with me). Many people including myself do not know what is Cydia (in iOS world I mean) until you heard of this word. The first time I heard is from a friend who is using an iPhone 6S. She described a little about Cydia to me and I search for more information after I got home. Cydia is actually an app you can download to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. It is not yet another Apple app but it is an amazing app that allows you to download millions of apps that you may not even get it from Apple app store. One of the few best Cydia apps I am going to recommend is Winterboard although there are a group of people who hate Winterboard for their own reasons.
So now you have known what Cydia is. Will you download Cydia? Let me tell you the reasons you need Cydia apps. First, Cydia have many apps in their database from A to Z and you can download any of them base on what you want to do. For example, the Winterboard I mentioned just now. You can change your theme or the way your idevces look with Winterboard which is not allow in original setting without Cydia or without jailbreak. This is one thing. Another reason is you can download unlimited app such as adblocker to block any ad appear in your browser and some other to be mentioned. With so many advantages on hand, I have decided to download Cydia to my newly bought iPhone 6S Plus.
So how to get Cydia? There is no way on earth to get Cydia without jailbreaking it. May be in the future there is a way but at least not for now. You can jailbreak your idevices with several ways and the easiest way is to jailbreak it and have Cydia downloaded to your device automatically. You will then see a Cydia icon at your device. It is brown color with a box and many boxes inside the big box. It is very easy to recognize. Once you have got Cydia on your device, your door is opened and you can easily access many apps. Some are free and some are with small charges from few cents to few ten dollars. The most popular Cydia app is always the one free and good to use. With these reasons, I will say Cydia apps are a must-have thing if you are using Apple product.
